Tilman Spreckelsen was born in Kronberg/Taunus in 1967. He graduated in German philology and history from the University of Freiburg im Breisgau and has worked for FAZ since 2001, since 2003 in the position of a scientifical editor of the FAS. He is also the editor of numerous anthologies.
