Julia Watson, geboren in London, ist Gastrokritikerin und Schriftstellerin. 1984-88 war sie Moskau-Korrespondentin für ›The Mail‹ und den ›Evening Standard‹, anschließend Food- & Style-Journalistin u.a. für die ›Washington Post‹, außerdem schreibt sie eine wöchentliche Kolumne für ›United Press International‹. Sie lebt in Washington, in Schottland und im Périgord.
